The natural material used in this bag is called “bemban” it is a reed that thrives even in water and this is why it is also found growing in the buffer areas of the Danau Sentarum National Park.  “Bemban” mats are woven by Dayak Iban women in Kapuas Hulu, West Kalimantan. So far, over 100 motifs of these mats has been documented. The trim and handle of this bag is made of genuine leather.

Bahan alami yang digunakan di tas ini disebut “bemban”. Bemban merupakan tanaman yang bahkan tumbuh di dalam air. Tikar bemban dianyam oleh perempuan suku Dayak Iban di Kapuas Hulu, Kalimantan Barat. Bagian sisi dan handle tas ini terbuat dari kulit.
